Bill Paying Etiquette in Uzbekistan

Bills are usually settled directly with the cashier or by bank transfer, and in many places you should expect to pay in cash unless a card terminal is clearly available. In restaurants and small shops, the bill may be brought only when you ask, and in family settings it is common for the host or the eldest person to insist on paying as a sign of hospitality.
