Keep your voice low and your behavior relaxed in public, especially in markets, on buses, and in small villages, where loud arguments or overt displays of anger are frowned on. Beachwear is fine at the beach or pool, but in town and when visiting shops, restaurants, or churches people usually dress modestly and avoid walking around in swimwear or very revealing clothes.
