Smoking Etiquette in Russia

Smoking is still fairly common in Russia, but you should only smoke in designated areas and avoid doing it at entrances, bus stops, stairwells, or other crowded public spaces. Since anti-smoking rules have tightened in recent years, many restaurants, offices, and transport hubs are smoke-free, while some people still step outside for a cigarette in cold weather.
