Queueing Etiquette in Iran

Queueing is generally informal in Iran, so people often form loose lines and may step forward to ask who is last rather than waiting in a strict single-file queue. In busy places like bakeries, government offices, and bus stops, patience and a calm tone matter more than rigid line discipline, and locals may rely on verbal turn-taking or a shared sense of order instead of visible barriers.
