PDA Etiquette in Iran

Public displays of affection are generally avoided in Iran, so holding hands, hugging, or kissing in public can draw unwanted attention and may be seen as inappropriate. Married couples and close friends still tend to keep physical affection very restrained in public spaces, especially in conservative areas and around families.
