Avoid using your left hand to give, receive, eat, or greet, because it is widely considered unclean and disrespectful in everyday interactions. It is also best not to point at people, step over someone sitting or lying down, or openly criticize elders, since respect for age and social hierarchy is a strong part of local etiquette.
