Smoking Etiquette in Cyprus

Smoking is still fairly common in Cyprus, but you should only smoke in clearly permitted areas and avoid lighting up in enclosed public places, on public transport, and in most indoor hospitality venues. In practice, many cafés and bars have outdoor seating where smoking is tolerated, yet it is polite to ask before smoking near others and to watch for no-smoking signs, especially in family spaces and government buildings.
