Punctuality Etiquette in Cuba

Arriving a little late is often normal in Cuba, especially for social plans, so a 15–30 minute delay is usually not seen as rude. For formal meetings, government appointments, or business, it is still best to be on time, but many locals use a more flexible sense of schedule known as "hora cubana".
