Dining Etiquette in Cuba
Meals are usually social and unhurried, so it is normal to linger at the table, share dishes, and accept a second helping if offered. In private homes and paladares, a warm greeting and a little conversation before eating are appreciated, while in more formal settings people generally wait for the host to start and keep the tone relaxed rather than overly formal.
