Shared taxis and minibuses are the normal way to get around, so expect vehicles to leave when full rather than on a fixed timetable and be ready to negotiate the fare before boarding. In cities, motorcycle taxis are also common for short trips, while outside major centers roads can be rough and travel times unpredictable, especially in the rainy season.
