Tipping Etiquette in Congo

Tipping is not generally expected in Congo, but in hotels, restaurants, and for drivers or porters, a small extra amount is appreciated if the service was good. In everyday life people may simply round up the bill or leave a modest cash tip, especially in larger cities and more tourist-oriented places, while in more informal settings no tip is perfectly normal.
