PDA Etiquette in Congo

Public displays of affection are usually kept very modest in Congo, so holding hands is generally fine but kissing, hugging, or other overt PDA can draw uncomfortable attention, especially in conservative or older circles. In cities people may be a bit more relaxed, but it is still best to keep affection subtle in public and save more intimate gestures for private settings.
