Bargaining is normal in informal markets, street stalls, and when hiring taxis or moto-taxis, but it should be done politely and with a smile rather than aggressively. In shops with fixed prices, restaurants, and most formal services, prices are usually not negotiated, and pushing too hard can be seen as rude.
