PDA Etiquette in Bulgaria

Public displays of affection are usually kept modest in Bulgaria, so holding hands or a quick kiss is generally fine, but prolonged hugging, heavy kissing, or overtly sexual behavior can draw stares, especially in smaller towns or around older people. In cities and among younger couples the norm is more relaxed, yet Bulgarians still tend to value a reserved, low-key public manner rather than making romance the center of attention.
