Tipping in Belize is appreciated for good service but usually modest, with about 10% common in restaurants if a service charge is not already included, and small cash tips for hotel staff, guides, and drivers. In tourist areas and higher-end places, bills may already include a service charge, so check before adding extra; in everyday local spots, rounding up or leaving a few Belize dollars is perfectly normal.
