Queueing Etiquette in Belize

People generally queue in an orderly, first-come-first-served way at banks, government offices, and busy shops, but lines can be looser than in some countries and it is normal to ask politely whose turn is next. In smaller towns and informal settings, service may be more relaxed and people sometimes wait in a cluster rather than a strict single file, so patience and a calm, friendly manner go a long way.
