Tipping is appreciated in Argentina but usually modest: in restaurants people often leave around 10% in cash if service was good, while in cafés, bars, and for hotel staff small change or a few pesos is common. Taxi drivers, delivery couriers, and tour guides may also receive a little extra, but it is not as rigidly expected as in some countries and many locals round up rather than calculate a fixed amount.
