Meat Etiquette in Argentina

Beef is the default meat in Argentina, and a meal centered on asado is the most familiar and socially important way to serve it, often with sausages, offal, and simple sides rather than elaborate sauces. Pork and chicken are common too, but if you are invited to a family barbecue or restaurant grill, expect beef cuts like bife de chorizo or vacĂo to be the main event and for sharing to be part of the experience.
