Tipping Etiquette in Tajikistan

Tipping is not expected in Tajikistan, and in many everyday places such as taxis, cafés, and small restaurants you can simply round up the bill or leave a small amount if the service was especially good. In more formal hotels or higher-end restaurants, a modest tip may be appreciated, but locals generally do not treat it as a fixed obligation and service charges are not always built into the price.
