Punctuality Etiquette in Tajikistan

Arriving a little late is often tolerated in Tajikistan, especially for social visits, family gatherings, and informal meetings, so a few minutes of flexibility is usually normal. For business, official appointments, and meetings with older or more formal hosts, it is still best to be on time, but expect schedules to be looser than in many Western countries and plans to shift at short notice.
