Meat Etiquette in Spain

Meat is a normal and often central part of meals in Spain, especially at lunch and in shared dishes, with pork, chicken, and beef all common and lamb or rabbit appearing in regional cooking. In many places it is perfectly ordinary to order jamón, chorizo, or grilled meat as tapas or a main course, though some traditional dishes are more seasonal or tied to local festivals.
