Bargaining Etiquette in Spain

Bargaining is generally not expected in Spain’s shops, supermarkets, restaurants, or taxis, where prices are usually fixed and haggling can feel out of place. The main exceptions are flea markets, secondhand stalls, and some independent souvenir sellers, where a light, friendly negotiation may be accepted if you keep it polite and low-key.
