Tipping Etiquette in Paraguay

Tipping is not expected in Paraguay, and in many everyday situations people simply round up the bill or leave a small extra amount only for especially good service. In restaurants and bars, a modest 5–10% is appreciated but not obligatory, and taxi drivers, hotel staff, and other service workers may also receive a little extra if the service was helpful.
