Smoking Etiquette in Paraguay

Smoking is generally tolerated in bars, some restaurants, and outdoor social spaces, but you should still look for no-smoking signs and avoid lighting up in enclosed public places or around families. Paraguay has a fairly relaxed social attitude toward cigarettes compared with some countries, yet courtesy matters: ask before smoking at a private gathering and expect more restrictions in newer malls, offices, and public transport areas.
