markets, and around
religious sites, because many Nigerians consider unsolicited photos intrusive or disrespectful. Security-sensitive places such as airports, military buildings, police stations, and some government facilities may forbid photography outright, and in some communities you may be expected to offer a small greeting or explanation before taking a portrait.
