Avoid touching people’s heads, pointing your feet at others or sacred objects, and using your
left hand for giving or receiving items, because these are widely seen as disrespectful. In
temples and many homes, remove shoes before entering and be especially careful around religious spaces, where public displays of affection and loud behavior are also frowned upon.
