Etiquette Etiquette in Nepal

Use your right hand for giving, receiving, and eating when possible, and avoid touching people’s heads or pointing your feet at others, as both are considered disrespectful. Greetings are usually a light namaste with palms together, and in temples or homes you should remove shoes and dress modestly, especially around elders and religious spaces.
