Smoking Etiquette in Morocco

Smoking is fairly common in Morocco, especially among men in cafés, on terraces, and in some social settings, but you should still avoid lighting up indoors unless the place clearly allows it or you see others doing so. In more traditional or family spaces, it is polite to ask first and be discreet, since attitudes can be conservative even where public smoking is tolerated.
