Alcohol Etiquette in Morocco

Alcohol is available in hotels, licensed bars, and some supermarkets, but it is best to drink discreetly and avoid public intoxication or carrying bottles openly. Morocco is a Muslim-majority country, so many locals do not drink at all and alcohol is not part of everyday social life, especially during Ramadan and in conservative neighborhoods.
