Inclusivity Etiquette in Montenegro

Montenegrins are generally welcoming in everyday social settings, and it is normal to be polite and inclusive toward guests, women, older people, and anyone joining a group, even if conversations can be direct. Public attitudes are still fairly traditional outside Podgorica and the coast, so visible LGBTQ+ expression or unconventional gender roles may draw stares or quiet disapproval in smaller towns, while formal hospitality remains warm and respectful.
