Photography Etiquette in Montenegro

Ask before photographing people, especially in villages, markets, or at family gatherings, because many Montenegrins consider unsolicited photos intrusive. It is usually fine to take pictures of scenery, churches, and coastal towns, but be discreet around military sites, border areas, and during religious services or funerals.
