Alcohol Etiquette in Montenegro

Alcohol is widely accepted in Montenegro, and it is normal to drink beer, wine, or rakija with meals, in cafés, and at social gatherings, though you should still avoid loud or sloppy behavior in public. In rural areas and at family celebrations, homemade rakija is often offered as a sign of hospitality, and it is polite to accept at least a small glass if you can drink.
