Queueing Etiquette in Mali

Queueing is often looser than in many Western countries, so expect people to form informal lines, cluster around a counter, or let someone known to the seller move ahead. In busy markets, bus stations, and government offices, patience and a calm, polite reminder are usually more effective than insisting on a strict first-come, first-served line.
