Dress modestly in public, especially outside resort islands and on local beaches, with shoulders and knees covered for both men and women. Swimwear is generally fine only at resort beaches or designated bikini beaches, while in inhabited areas people usually wear loose, lightweight clothing that respects Islamic norms.
