Swearing Etiquette in Kuwait

Swearing in public is generally frowned upon in Kuwait, especially in front of elders, families, or in formal settings, and using obscene language can quickly be seen as disrespectful or provocative. In everyday conversation people tend to avoid strong profanity, and insulting someone’s honor or family can escalate tensions far more than a casual curse would in some other places.
