Tipping Etiquette in Jordan

Tipping is appreciated in Jordan but usually modest: round up the bill or leave about 5–10% in restaurants if service is not already included, and give small cash tips to hotel staff, drivers, and guides for good service. In more casual places, especially cafés and street-food spots, a few extra dinars is enough, while in upscale hotels and tourist areas service charges may appear on the bill but a little extra is still welcomed.
