Recycling Etiquette in Jamaica

Recycling is not yet a strong everyday norm in Jamaica, so travelers should not expect the same level of sorting bins, curbside pickup, or deposit-return systems found in many other countries. In practice, people often reuse bags, bottles, and containers when convenient, and recycling efforts are more visible in hotels, offices, and some urban areas than in ordinary street life.
