Carry small cash or tissues for public toilets, as many restrooms in Angola are basic, may lack toilet paper, and sometimes require a small payment or a purchase to use. In restaurants, hotels, and newer malls the facilities are usually more reliable, but in rural areas and older buildings it is normal to find squat toilets or limited water for flushing and handwashing.
