Tipping Etiquette in Solomon Islands

Tipping is not expected in Solomon Islands, and in most everyday situations you can simply pay the stated price without adding extra. In hotels, restaurants, and with guides or drivers, a small gratuity may be appreciated for exceptional service, but it is optional rather than a local obligation.
