Tipping Etiquette in Senegal

Tipping is appreciated in Senegal but usually modest, and in many everyday situations a small amount or rounding up the bill is enough rather than a fixed percentage. In restaurants, hotels, and with drivers or guides, extra cash is common for good service, but in more informal places people may not expect a tip unless the service was clearly attentive.
