Queueing Etiquette in Sao Tome and Principe

Queueing is generally informal in São Tomé and Príncipe, so expect people to form loose lines and to ask who is last rather than standing in a rigid single-file queue. In busy markets, ferry terminals, and government offices, patience and a calm, friendly approach matter more than strict order, and it is normal for locals to negotiate turns verbally if the line is unclear.
