Tipping Etiquette in Mozambique

Tipping is appreciated but not usually expected in Mozambique, so rounding up the bill or leaving a small extra amount for good service is enough in restaurants, hotels, and for drivers. In higher-end places in Maputo and tourist areas, a modest tip is more common, while in everyday local eateries and markets it is generally not part of the norm.
