Bargaining Etiquette in Mozambique
Bargaining is common in informal markets, street stalls, and with independent taxi or moto-taxi drivers, but it should be done politely and with a smile rather than aggressively. In shops with fixed prices, supermarkets, and restaurants, prices are usually non-negotiable, while in local markets a small back-and-forth over the price is expected and often part of the interaction.
