Inclusivity Etiquette in Latvia

Public life in Latvia is generally inclusive in a practical, low-key way: people expect everyone to be treated politely and without fuss, but they also tend to value privacy and may not openly discuss personal identity unless invited. In bigger cities and among younger Latvians you will usually find a more open attitude, while in smaller towns or older circles it is wiser to be discreet and let relationships develop before raising sensitive topics.
