Smoking Etiquette in Kenya

Smoking is generally restricted to designated areas, and lighting up in buses, offices, restaurants, or other enclosed public places is not acceptable. In cities you may see people smoking outdoors in bars or on sidewalks, but it is polite to step away from crowds and ask before smoking near others, especially around elders or families.
