Tipping Etiquette in Kazakhstan

Tipping is not expected in Kazakhstan, but in restaurants and cafés people often round up the bill or leave about 5–10% for good service if a service charge is not already included. In taxis, salons, and hotels, small cash tips are appreciated but not obligatory, and many locals simply pay the stated price unless the service was especially helpful.
