Bargaining Etiquette in Iceland

Bargaining is generally not expected in Iceland, especially in shops, restaurants, taxis, and most services where prices are fixed and clearly displayed. The main exceptions are some flea markets, private sales, and occasional tour or souvenir purchases, but even there haggling is usually light and polite rather than a normal part of the transaction.
