Public swearing is frowned upon in Egypt, especially in mixed company, around elders, or in formal settings, so keep frustration language mild and avoid using profanity in the street, shops, or taxis. In everyday conversation people may still use strong slang with close friends, but expressions tied to religion or family honor can be taken very seriously and may escalate a minor argument.
