Coffee & Tea Etiquette in Dominican Republic

Coffee is usually served strong and sweet, often as a small cafecito after meals or when greeting visitors, and it is common to accept at least a little if offered. Tea is much less central than coffee, though herbal infusions and black tea may appear at breakfast or when someone is unwell, with coffee remaining the everyday social drink.
