Drinking Water Etiquette in Denmark

Tap water is safe and commonly drunk straight from the faucet, and in restaurants it is normal to ask for a glass of tap water rather than bottled water. Many Danes carry reusable bottles and expect water to be plain and unchilled unless a place specifically offers sparkling water or other drinks.
